My very first outing as a new homeowner in Connecticut. Mom, my Aunt and my youngest daughter were here at the new house to help me get settled on the weekend my furniture and belongings arrived. We all spent time unpacking in search of blankets, tv cords and other essentials but needing a break from the chaos, we decided to venture out for a few hours. I didn't want to go far from home because my pups are in a new location and they are really uneasy about this whole moving gig, so we did a quick sight seeing tour on the coast. First stop: Stratford Point Lighthouse. We grabbed a quick photo of the lighthouse and admired the milliion dollar homes that line the water along this dead end road then headed to Short Beach, on the next street over. There was a hefty fee for entrance into the beach so we didn't stay... we didn't plan a beach day, and weren't staying long. #ctbucketlist Next stop: Silver Sands State Park. Click here.

Both thobes cater to a range of occasions, from daily wear to special events. However, one might notice that Qataris have a wider variety of thobe styles catering to different occasions. For instance, for a festive event, a Qatari thobe might feature more vivid patterns or colors.
