My first project in our new home. The Iron and board holder. DIY for $5.88 We have worked tirelessly to get this house in order. Living in chaos and dis-organization doesn't work well for us. We have just been in an uneasy state of mind and a bit cranky because of the chores and tasks involved in the whole move process. There are still a few boxes to go through but I took a few minutes this past weekend to paint a crate so I have a place to store and hang the iron and board. I saw someone else do something similar on pinterest (of course), so here is my version. Supplies: $5.00 - Wood crate (normally $10 but used a 50% off coupon at Michaels) $.88 - Caribbean Sea paint in a small tube 0 - 2 curtain tie-backs that I had laying around 4 - misc screws for the wall and the tie-backs The colors work nicely in the beach guest room!
