I have family coming into town this weekend to visit us and see our new home. As I was getting the guest room ready, I realized I was missing fresh flowers. I don't have the time - or the money - to go buy cut flowers for a guest bedroom so I had to use what I have on hand. The previous owners left me a yard full of weeds that I have been slowly chipping away at. So - I used what I have - weeds. I got the painted glass vase at Hobby Lobby last weekend - it was on clearance - Originally $19.99 but was 70% off so I got it for $6! It matches perfectly with the Iron and Board Holder that I made for $5 that now hangs in this beach themed room. My weed vase really does give the room that something extra.

hanks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
